Girringun National Park

Our trip into Girringun National Park provided further evidence of our excellent timing… the park is home to the Wallaman Falls, the longest single-drop waterfall in Australia at 305m. Or at least it is during the wet season. When we arrived it was the end of the dry season and the wet season hadn’t really got underway and so the waterfall was dry. Although we didn’t manage to see the waterfall, we did stop to take in the views of the park and spent the night camped at the top of the hill.
