Kata Tjuta

The morning after visiting Uluru we packed our tents up early and made our way to the Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), a collection of large rock formations (or bornhardts), where we completed the Valley of the Winds walk. Like the base walk at Uluru, the Valley of the Winds walk was closed from 11am due to the extreme heat. Arriving early allowed us to complete the 7.4 km track, which took us to several lookouts before heading between the giant rocks.
