Litchfield National Park

On our way into Darwin we decided to spend a few days in the near-by Litchfield National Park. The park is filled with swimming opportunities, something that would become a rarity as we ventured further into crocodile territory, so we weren’t going to miss it. We spent two days swimming in natural rock pools and waterfalls with only one scare of a potential croc threat, a 1m freshie that lived at one of the waterfalls. Luckily we didn’t come face to face with him, despite knowing they aren’t normally aggressive I still didn’t want to take my chances.
