As we were leaving the Engelbrecht Cave we quickly picked up a drink from the cafe located on site. Our tour guide had told us briefly about Blue Lake Lemonade, no longer made in Mount Gambier but still sold as a tourist attraction and being a tourist I had to buy a bottle to take with me to see the lake. I didn’t know what to expect when heading to the lake, we had been told that it was incredibly blue during the summer but as we were now in April not to expect much more than your average dull-grey lake. But as you can see from the photos, the lake was still a stunning blue in the sunshine and the Blue Lake lemonade had a similar effect on our tongues.
P.S. Blue Lake Lemonade: Jack and I are available for promos if you are interested.
